For four evenings, the Hostarie delle Contrade turn Piazza del Popolo into the convivial heart of the Cavalcata dell’Assunta. Fermo’s ten contrade serve local and Marche dishes amid music, period costumes and anticipation for the Palio.p
The Polenta Festival with snails returns to Altidona from August 1 to 4. Founded in 1974 to promote an ancient local dish, it combines tradition, authentic flavors, and village life in the historic center, with free entry for citizens and visitors.
The Sagra de lu Scottaditu, organized by the Pro Loco of Porto Sant'Elpidio, brings the maritime tradition to the center-north beachfront with fish dishes made according to passed-down recipes. Shows and entertainment enliven the food stands.

The Feast of San Ciriaco, patron saint of Altidona, animates the historic center on August 7th and 8th with religious moments, processions, activities for the elderly and children, dinners in the square, and theatrical comedies, all in a spirit of community and tradition.
For four days, Campofilone becomes a large open-air restaurant with the National Maccheroncini Festival. From 7 PM, stalls, tastings, show cooking, folklore, and music celebrate one of the culinary excellences of the Marche region.
The Investiture of the Port Guardian precedes the Bucket Challenge with a historical reenactment along the waterfront. Participants, dressed in costumes from the Maritime Village, drummers, and flag-wavers parade to the Rotonda for the official ceremony.
