Bababoom Festival is one of the main reggae festivals in Italy and brings to life the seafront of Marina Palmense every year. Music, meetings, and an international atmosphere make the coast a reference point for genre enthusiasts, from July 22 to 26.
Marina Palmense is located along the Fermo coastline, south of Porto San Giorgio. It can be reached by car from the A14 motorway, taking either the Porto San Giorgio–Fermo or Pedaso exit depending on the direction of travel, and continuing along the SS16 Adriatica road.
The reference railway station is Porto San Giorgio–Fermo; Pedaso may also be useful depending on the direction of travel. From there, Marina Palmense can be reached by local transport connections or by taxi.
Parking areas are available along the seafront and near the beach access points. During busier periods, especially in summer, it is advisable to follow local signs and check for any temporary parking restrictions.
The Sea Festival celebrates the maritime tradition of Porto San Giorgio for a week with concerts, guided tours, exhibitions, and shows. The most anticipated moment is the Giant Pan of the Adriatic, featuring fried fish and a tribute to the Fallen at sea.
Jazz and more than just Jazz is a summer festival dedicated to jazz and related musical languages. At Piazzale Azzolino, it features concerts with international guests, blending improvisation, sound research, and quality listening, every evening at 9:45 PM.
On 28 and 29 July, the Cavalcata dell’Assunta brings the Gallo d’Oro and Bandiere al Vento trophies to Piazza del Popolo. Drummers and flag-wavers from the ten contrade compete with rhythm, technique, choreography, period costumes and colour.
