On 13 September, Festa dello Sport enlivens the Porto San Giorgio seafront with over 40 associations and more than 30 sports. Demonstrations, open activities, road safety education and volunteering promote sport, inclusion and community.
The Festa dello Sport returns to Porto San Giorgio’s seafront on 13 September 2026 for its thirteenth edition. Starting at 3.00 p.m., sports associations, clubs, federations and organisations from the social and care sectors will enliven the seafront with dedicated stands, demonstrations and activities open to the public.
With over 40 associations involved and more than 30 sports disciplines represented, the event invites residents, families and visitors to take part first-hand, discover different sports and enjoy a day devoted to movement, social interaction and wellbeing. There will also be a dedicated road safety area for children, with cycling routes and activities organised in collaboration with the Local Police.
The Festa dello Sport promotes sport as a right for everyone, highlighting its inclusive, educational and community-building role. Alongside the sports disciplines, there will be space for associations engaged in important social issues, from the inclusion of people with disabilities to the fight against bullying and violence against women, as well as environmental protection, biodiversity and volunteering in service of the community.
