Porticciolo
One of the most authentic places of the relationship between the village and the sea, it comes to life every morning with the arrival of fresh catch, offering locals and visitors the opportunity to buy fish directly on site.
A beautiful promenade by the sea enriched by century-old palms and Liberty-style buildings dating back to the early 1900s.
The Gramsci seafront is one of the vibrant hearts of Porto San Giorgio: a splendid walk by the sea enriched by century-old palms and Liberty-style buildings dating back to the early 1900s. The area is perfect for relaxation and recreation, thanks to the presence of a bike path, wide pedestrian areas recently regenerated, and numerous beach establishments. The coastline, with its fine sandy beach, is today awarded the Blue Flag for the quality of its waters and services.
The seafront is also the venue for events, markets, outdoor concerts, and sports activities throughout the year, providing a lively and captivating atmosphere in every season.
Lungomare Gramsci runs along the seafront of Porto San Giorgio and is one of the town’s main areas for walks, events, beach resorts and outdoor activities.
If travelling by car, Porto San Giorgio can be reached via the A14 motorway exit for Porto San Giorgio/Fermo or along the SS16 Adriatica coastal road. From the town centre, simply follow the signs for the sea and the seafront. Lungomare Gramsci extends along the coastline, connecting different parts of the town from the northern to the southern area.
The nearest railway station is Porto San Giorgio–Fermo, located in Piazza Giacomo Matteotti. From the station, the seafront can be reached easily on foot in just a few minutes by walking through the town centre towards the sea. Alternatively, visitors can use a taxi or local transport, especially if they need to reach a specific section of the seafront.
Parking spaces and parking areas are available along Lungomare Gramsci and in the nearby streets. During the summer season, from 1 June to 31 August, parking along the seafront is generally paid from 9.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m., according to municipal regulations.
Visitors are advised to check the signs on site, as parking fees, times and availability may vary depending on the season, events and municipal regulations.
