Morning:

 

PORTO SAN GIORGIO, THE TASTE OF SEASIDE CUISINE

The itinerary begins in Porto San Giorgio, a seaside town deeply connected to fishing traditions and maritime cuisine. A walk along the seafront and around the Tourist Marina introduces the strong bond between the town, the harbour and the Adriatic, before discovering brodetto sangiorgese, the symbolic dish of local cuisine.

CAMPOFILONE, HOME OF MACCHERONCINI IGP

From the sea, the route climbs towards Campofilone, a hilltop village known for its Maccheroncini di Campofilone IGP. Before or after the food stop, it is worth strolling through the medieval historic centre, passing through Porta Marina and reaching the area of the Abbey of San Bartolomeo, where the tradition of this product is closely linked to the history and identity of the village.

PEDASO, SEAFOOD FLAVOURS AND POPULAR TRADITION

The final stop leads to Pedaso, a coastal town linked to seafood cuisine and the tradition of mussels. The small harbour area, near the mouth of the Aso River, tells of the town’s daily connection with small-scale fishing, while the public gardens overlooking the Adriatic offer a pleasant place to end the itinerary with a relaxing walk.
