FERMO, A CITY OF ART AND HISTORY

The itinerary begins in Fermo, an elegant city of art overlooking the rolling hills of the Marche region. A walk through its historic centre leads visitors to the magnificent Piazza del Popolo, the heart of the city, surrounded by arcades and historic buildings. Also worth visiting are the Palazzo dei Priori, home to important art collections, and the remarkable Roman Cisterns, one of the most significant underground Roman structures preserved in Italy.

TORRE DI PALME, THE VILLAGE OVERLOOKING THE ADRIATIC SEA

Just a few kilometres from Fermo lies Torre di Palme, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful villages in the Marche region. Its brick-paved streets, charming squares and panoramic viewpoints offer stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and the surrounding hills. A stroll through the village is an opportunity to immerse yourself in a peaceful and authentic atmosphere, surrounded by historic buildings and picturesque corners full of character.

This stop is above all a culinary experience: Campofilone is renowned for its Maccheroncini di Campofilone IGP, a traditional pasta speciality appreciated throughout Italy. Before lunch, take some time to stroll through the streets of the medieval historic centre, enclosed by ancient walls and overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
