Baraonda Summer
Baraonda Summer is the summer event of the Carnival of Fermo and Porto San Giorgio, a unique event in the Marche region.
Since 1964, the GP Capodarco has been the only international cycling competition in the Marche region dedicated to the under 23 amateur category.
Since 1964, the Gran Premio di Capodarco has been the only international cycling competition in the Marche region dedicated to under 23 amateurs. Scheduled for August 16, it attracts athletes, teams, and cycling enthusiasts to Capodarco and its roads.
Capodarco is a district of Fermo. By car, it can be reached from the SS16 Adriatica road: from the north, take the Porto Sant’Elpidio exit and continue south; from the south, take the Porto San Giorgio–Fermo exit and continue north, following signs for Capodarco.
The reference railway station is Porto San Giorgio–Fermo. From there, local bus connections are available towards Fermo and Capodarco, including the urban line serving Capodarco.
