What happens when science steps out of the most formal venues and meets the sea, the villages, and the people? A Sea of Science 2026 is born, a series of events that brings six evenings of dialogue, outreach, and open discussion to the Coastal Villages – Riviera Fermana.
Created in collaboration with CDO Marche Sud, the initiative traverses all the municipalities of the destination with meetings spread across July, August, and September. Each event will be hosted in a different location along the coast, transforming everyday recognizable spaces into opportunities to listen, ask questions, and view the territory from a new perspective.
Six municipalities, six events
The calendar of A Sea of Science 2026 accompanies the summer of the Coastal Villages with a route that touches Altidona, Fermo, Pedaso, Porto Sant’Elpidio, Porto San Giorgio, and Campofilone.

A coast that becomes a meeting place
With Un Mare di Scienza 2026, the Riviera Fermana also tells its story as a space for relationships and knowledge. Not just beaches and vacations, but places to meet, listen to different experiences, and share questions on issues concerning the present and future of the communities.
It is a different way to experience the Costa dei Borghi: one evening after another, among the sea, marinas, pine forests, and villages, the communication becomes an opportunity to discover the territory and feel it closer.
