Piazza Matteotti is located in the centre of Porto San Giorgio, near the railway station. It can be reached by car via the A14 motorway, taking the Porto San Giorgio–Fermo exit, or along the SS16 Adriatica road.
The square is located in front of Porto S. Giorgio–Fermo railway station, on the Adriatic railway line, and is therefore very easy to reach by train.
Visitors can use parking areas near the railway station and the town centre. During busier periods, especially in summer or during events, it is advisable to check local signs and any temporary parking restrictions.
On 13 September, Festa dello Sport enlivens the Porto San Giorgio seafront with over 40 associations and more than 30 sports. Demonstrations, open activities, road safety education and volunteering promote sport, inclusion and community.
Villa in Vita Festival brings Fermo’s summer theatre season to the open-air arena of Villa Vitali. Now in its eleventh edition, it offers performances and cultural events in one of the city’s greenest, most atmospheric settings. Access: paid entry.
